My Story
Tony Slay is a Kenyan-born, Germany-based, award-winning artist, music producer and DJ. He broke into the music scene at the age of 13 in his hometown after taking part in a rap battle and dismantling his opponent. He then started putting out his own music at the age of 14 and started getting mainstream success at the age of 16. Tony Slay became a teenage protege throughout his high school life selling thousands of mixtapes and album copies, performing on big stages, doing media tours on mainstream TV & Radio stations. A long legal battle with his former label forced Tony Slay to take a long break from music, relocate to Germany and persue a career in film production which has been successful given the growth of his production company, Slay Pixels. However, in 2020, at the height of Covid, Tony Slay made a major comeback into the music scene as an independent artist with a top 5 album. He went ahead to tour with big German and African super stars like Culcha Candela, Pietro Lombardi, Alikiba, Mbosso, Otile Brown, Rudeboy and Diamond Platnumz
